Our efforts to create a 51-mile integrated resource for the Los Angeles River has been orchestrated through the lens of multiple audiences: regional elected officials, public agencies, peer and technical organizations and the general public. With each audience the goal was to present a clear, concise introduction to River LA and its partners, building upon past and current river planning efforts, as well as disclose the data gathering process (Phase 1) and ultimate approach to an integrated design study,. From day one, it’s been an an inclusionary and public process that allows for space to imagine.

The dialogue with these audiences also allowed River LA and the team to demonstrate the opportunity to build upon past planning and imagining efforts to spotlight the LA River as a unique and valuable regional resource.

With the completion of the technical analysis for Phase 1, the team can use its integrated data research.
