Peer and Technical Organizations

During Phase One, peer and technical organizations were invited to participate in the early analysis in an effort to learn of current and past projects and/or planning related to the LA River, gain insight into any analysis pursued by the organizations that may fall into the technical criteria being considered by River LA and its team, and incorporate feedback given the early stage of the integrated design study process. 53 peer organizations and 12 technical firms from the initial City of Los Angeles River Revitalization Master Plan team were briefed. Our goal is to continue to reach out to and collaborate with peer and technical organizations to ensure the river is elevated as one of the region’s most important resources.
