Bell is a city in southern Los Angeles County in Southern California situated south of downtown Los Angeles.
The city Incorporated in 1927.
As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 35,477.
The City of Bell is the 40th densest city in the US.
Bell is bordered by Maywood on the north, Bell Gardens on the east, Cudahy on the south and southwest, and Huntington Park on the west.
The city is about 6 miles (10 km) southeast of Downtown Los Angeles.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.6 square miles (6.7 km2), of which 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2) is land and 0.1 square miles (0.26 km2) is water.
